Collaborations

Fire. Hammer. File.

I have had the opportunity to work with several fantastic artisans. Here are a few such projects.

Tomahawk Donation to the 2020 Contemporary Longrifle Association Auction

"This pipe tomahawk was crafted for donation to the 2020 CLA auction. I forged the head from a gun barrel with a hammer forged steel bit. Next was profiling the head with file work and sanding. I passed it on to Kyle Willyard who performed the final polishing, silver inlet, and fine engraving on the head. Then it traveled to Mike Miller who hafted the tomahawk with wire, silver and brass inlet, as well as silver mouthpiece and cap with fine engraving."

Tomahawk with Sheath Donation to the 2019 Contemporary Longrifle Association Auction

"This pipe tomahawk was crafted for donation to the 2019 CLA auction. I forged the head from a gun barrel with a hammer forged steel bit. Next was profiling the head with file work and sanding, and a fitted haft. I passed it on to Kyle Willyard who performed the final polishing, silver inlet, fine engraving, and a finish on the haft. Then it traveled to Shelly Gier who crafted a fine sheath, based on an original.
