Hand Forged Blades
A knife in 18th century colonial America could have been used at the kitchen table, to skin a deer for the hide, used to fight, or whittle out a spoon, all in the same week.
Pricing
Each blade is hand-forged based on 18th-century methods creating a unique, one-of-a-kind product. Customization is limited to size, style, and type of wood used to make the handle of the blade. Everything else is curated based on the materials at hand. Pricing starts at $170+.
How it’s made
Hand Forged Blades
I make all my knives from a known carbon steel. Each one is hammer forged to profile (not simply ground to shape). The final shape comes from file work. Handles are made of wood, bone, or antler.
